Lazy Sundays.

This weekend, I vowed to do absolutely nothing. I've done just that. The last couple weekends I spent away, at weddings, birthdays, concerts, etc. This weekend I bummed around on the beach, sat at home with all of the windows open, watched a movie, did some writing.

I love summer, especially on the beach. I feel displaced if I'm not near the water.

My shoulders are a little sunburned but it feels nice after such a long winter.

I'm going to spend the day in bed, methinks, with a glass of lemonade and a spoonful of peanut butter.

You'd think that ten years of writing fiction on and off would make me a bit of a better writer. Nah, I stopped somewhere around 15 (when I juuuust started to get a social life). I'm still only writing humor/romance, with other peoples characters in very awkward situations where all of the characters act like I do.

So it's pretty much perfect for Fanfiction.net (where I have recently returned).

Help meeeeeeeee.

Oh well, it's a free indulgence. Getting all plastered and writing shitty fanfiction is a much cheaper release than recreational drug use. But FML. Good thing I only really know one person on here, haha, this is not something that I would admit anywhere else. Christ. FML.

So cold, where the river flows.

So the last few days have been a blur. I went to Montreal to see an old friend of mine who still lives there. Did a little bit of shopping, a lot of eating, and a ton of travelling to get there and back. I got into a bit of a tiff with the Dude on the way home, but it was mostly the result of 8 hours of travel (and an hour of waiting in between when I missed my train, ugh).

It was nice to relax and unwind yesterday, although the crowd at the concert really pissed me off (my hatred for hipsters burns with the fire of a thousand suns), it was a nice acoustic set, and he played one of my favourite songs (Can't Stop Lovin' You!), which I got to thank him for afterwards. My friend got a t-shirt and the three of us discussed in great length how it will be tight enough to make her Tits McGee. Good times were had by all.

It's raining today, a great contrast to how lovely it was yesterday. But it will be good for the grass so I am trying to stay positive about the weather. On the upside, today I got my latest package from Lush in the mail! I purchased the Light pink colour supplement, Enzymion moisturiser, and Karma Komba shampoo bar along with the shampoo bar tin to keep it in while I travel. I also got a small piece of Honey I washed the kids soap and Pineapple grunt soap.

I also got my deluxe edition of ZTO, which came with a thank you note from Hevydevy Productions. That was nice. :)

I'm going back to work on Monday, which stinks. I wish I could take vacations more often.
